A man from Caledonia, Mo., was fatally injured Monday while riding an ATV in Washington County, authorities say.

The victim was identified as Clayborne Suttles, 41.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says Suttles was riding a 2003 Polaris Arctic Cat 650 all-terrain vehicle about noon Monday. The vehicle was going west in the 11100 block of Brinley Road when it hit a berm in the bridge. Suttles lost control of the ATV and it went airborne. Suttles was thrown off.

He was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. Monday by Washington County Coroner Brian DeClue.
